So excited you are staying with us! We created this QR code to ensure that each one of our guest have the best experience and that our house looks the same on every rental.
Below are notes, videos and information on the property so our guest and maids have ease finding things or operating amenities on the property. Also, check out our Welcome Book for things to do or places to eat! Below are a few of our favorite things to do when we come to the lake!
Maid Check List
Inside Kingston Home
Kitchen
Kitchen and dinning room
Please make sure guest have two rolls of paper towels.
Check inside of fridge and throw out all food and disinfect. Same with the freezer.
Empty Dishwasher and put dishes up.
Cleaning supplies and trash bags as well as dishwashing soap in under the cabinet or in shed outside.
Kitchen should have a toaster, pots and pans, and a coffee makers. Please make sure these are clean.
Check coffee pot to make sure guest didn't leave old grounds in them or old coffee in pot. Clean out microwave inside and out.
No appliances or stuff should be on countertops except coffee makers, utensils baskets and knife sets. Keep in mind they have another knife set on top of the microwave. All other items need to be put up and stored in cabinets.
Run hand across the countertop. Even if you wipe it clean it could camouflage stuff and it might need to be scrubbed.
Wipe all fronts off of the all appliances and top of fridge. Check all cabinet doors.
All spices need to be put away in the cabinet by the fridge.
Please check stove and if it needs to be cleaned, then please clean it. Remember crumbs fall to the drawer below.
Clean all pendant lights. Report back if any light bulbs are out.
We supply the guest with coffee, coffee filters cream and sugar. There are extra supplies in the shed. If we are out, please let management know.
Trash can needs to be wiped out on all sides, pulled away from the wall and cleaned behind. Trash bags are in the cabinet in the sink. If we are out please let us know. Make sure it is wiped out and free of any smells.
Make sure chairs in the dinning room are put back like the picture. Wipe down dinning room table and chairs. Rest table as shown in picture.
Clean blinds and check window seals.
Sweep and mop all floors.
Laundry Room -Make sure all laundry is put away. Wipe the front and top of the washer and dryer.
Living Room
Couches should be fluffed and vacuumed. Throw pillows should be arranged like they are pictured.
Blanket should be folded and stored in basket by the front door.
Check to make sure all remotes are set out nicely arranged on the coffee table.
Clean all blinds and window seals.
Clean entryway. Make sure all accessories are in the place like the picture. Dust, sweep and mop floors.
Dust all the furniture and window seals in the room. Vacuum all floors. Run the hose of the vacuum around the baseboards. Mop all floors.
Make sure you check under couch and all chairs.
Turn on lamps and make sure light bulbs are good.
Please check floor mat and wash if dirty.
Make sure thermostat on wall in living room is set to heat temp 65 in winter and 78 cool in Summer.
Bathrooms
In the bathroom area, check lights above vanity for bugs. If they need to be cleaned, please inform management.
Wipe mirror, clean and disinfect the countertop and sink. Polish faucet.
Disinfect the toilet, toilet lid, outside of toilet and behind the toilet.
Cleaning supplies are under the sink the bathroom or kitchen or shed.
Clean and disinfect bathtub, the walls and polish faucet.
Replace the dirty bath mat with a clean one. Place on the tub or infant of shower.
Restock bath and hand towels as well as wash clothes.
Check to make sure hair dryer is put up nicely and clean out any trash that was left in the drawers. Also, please make sure the guests left nothing behind.
Restock toilet paper. The guests should have two roles of toilet paper available.
Hand soap should be provided at all sinks. Please let contact management if we need to reorder.
Trash can should have a plastic trash bag in it. They are under the sink in the kitchen.
Sweep and mop all floors.
Bedrooms
Please strip all bedding and wash them. Extra bedding is in the hall closet or out in the shed.
Make all beds like the pictures and place throws and blankets alike.
Check inside all dressers to make sure guest have not left anything behind.
Check and clean window seals. Dust blinds.
Check under beds and clean.
Dust ceiling fans
Sweep and mop all floors.
Main Bunk Room
Please clean inside the fridge and throw out any food. Wipe down the from and the top of fridge.
Wipe down all tables and chairs.
Make sure all toys/games/floats are put up neatly on the shelf
Make sure all air conditioners/heaters on the walls are set to 65 in winter in heat mode and 78 in Summer on cool mode. Remote is on the wall by the door in each room. Please see video for more information.
Make sure garage doors are completely closed and locked. See picture below.
Make sure tornado shelter is cleaned and free of bugs.
Sweep and mop all floors.
Get out an enjoy the outdoors!
Where To Put The Trash? All maids and guest, please use use the dumpster that is in front of the house by the road. Please make sure it is always by the road because they will not pick up the trash if it is not by the road. If it is over flowing or any issues, please contact management. Please make sure water hose is rolled up and out of the walkway.
Fish Cleaning Sink
Please make sure it is wiped down and polished
Patio Deck
Please make sure both decks are swept off after each guest and and any cobwebs dusted.
Cushions are in order and fluffed.
Wipe down all tables.
Clean out grill and throw away old coals and ashes
Throw away all trash.
Check light and make sure bulb works and turn off.
